Established in 1986, Kon Penklis Optometry is a family run business that has been practising for over 30 years. 
 

Specialising in comprehensive eye examinations and using the latest equipment and technology, we cater to all age groups from infants to seniors. Our philosophy is that patient care comes first, it is our priority to ensure that you are personally catered to. Every eye exam screens for cataracts, macular degeneration, glaucoma, diabetes and other ocular diseases which may have visual and systemic implications. Our digital photography, digital retinal scans and computerised visual field analysis allow for immediate and in house investigation.

As well as our comprehensive examinations we also provide referral to and co-manage patient with ophthalmologists and your GP to provide a thorough and seamless Pre and Post-operative care plan. Annual eye examinations are encouraged for the early detection of potential vision threatening issues.

We provide competitive package prices on our spectacles and in most cases the cost is covered by private health insurance. Our onsite lab enables us to fit the lenses on our premises and allows onsite soldering and glasses repairs, minimising the turnaround time.

 

With thousands of frames to choose from, our wide range encompasses luxury brands such as Burberry, Ralph Polo, Fossil, Nike, Ted Baker, Kaos, La Mancha, Jag, Kate Spade and many more. We offer all forms of prescription lenses including Multifocal/Progressive/Progressive Digital/Extended Focal Lenses, Bifocals, Single Vision, Certified Safety Spectacles and Prescription Sunglasses all of which can be ordered in Transition and/or with High Index lens materials and/or with Low Reflection coatings for the best possible outcome.

 

We provide a range of Contact Lens corrections which include Standard as well as Frequent replacement daily, Fortnightly and Monthly contact lenses all of which are available in Single Vision, Toric and Multifocal forms. We can also arrange for a free trial pair before you purchase, to ensure your utmost satisfaction.
